Teaching
I have taught in Dutch, French and English at various universities. I bring a comparative and international perspective to all my teaching, and enjoy teaching across disciplines. My teaching philosophy is based on student-centred enquiry, and active learning strategies. Aside from university courses listed below, I design and teach an annual course for government and defence personnel on space and national interests at the National Security College in Canberra, Australia, and I teach into space fundamentals training for Defence personnel in Canada. I also have a multi-day workshop that I’ve delivered at various universities on “How to Win the PhD Game”.
